Best metronome app! I use this app for violin and it's the best metronome app I've had. I've been using the free version. It's well-designed and organized. There is an option the have the button flash on the beat, which makes it easier to keep track of the beat when it is sometimes difficult to hear when I am playing so loud. Metronome time is kept in beats per minute (BPM). A metronome is a practice tool to assist you in playing rhythms more accurately. While not generally used in performance, many musicians use a metronome to maintain a steady tempo and establish a strong rhythm for future performances. The only metronome that gives you complete control over how subdivisions are played - add subdivisions of any type (including custom subdivisions like 5/7) and have them played all the time, at random intervals, or in a sequenced pattern.
